In 1993 it obtained the Quality System Certification of Companies CSQ-ISO 9001:2008 (9105 EGI Cert.n. 1), approval of Conformity for UL and CSQ for terminals,end connectors and rapid connectors . The ‘Egi Srl’ brand was registered in 2006 and in 2009 it gained the certificate of registration for trade marks; in 2010 it was granted a patent for the construction of spade terminals whit non-slip knurling.

Saini Romano began producing terminals in 1973.
